The last leg of our vacation is the same place we started - Dallas, Texas. We chose to meet in Dallas and stay with a cousin before flying to Belize. While we were there we spent one day at the Fort Worth Zoo.

Looks like road-kill kaganroo.

It was a great beginning of our trip. The weather was warm and sunny, the animals were active, and the zoo wasn’t crowed. This really is a nice zoo and worth a visit if you are in the area.

On our way home we spent another night at the Orange B&B. On our way to the airport we stopped by Texas Motor Speedway for a tour. What a great tour! We got to take a few laps (in the van – darn) plus tour pit lane, the garage, and one of the luxury suites. Plans are being made for our next trip to Dallas and to attend one of the NASCAR races. Oh, and one of these days I want to take a few laps on the track in something much faster than the van.

Thanks to Janet and Bob for making our stay at the Orange B&B and our visit to Dallas a lot of fun. It was the perfect beginning and end to a wonderful vacation.
