Guatemala
We last visited Guatemala in the mid 1990s. Therefore, some of the following information might be out of date.

Extremely limited air service within Guatemala and poor roads make travel within Guatemala a little slow.

Tikal is very special! I liked Tikal, A LOT!
Of all of the places I've been around the world Tikal is one my favorites. It's just magic.

The Temple of Masks at Tikal.

Imagine sitting on top of a Mayan temple built several hundred of years ago. As you look around all you can see the top of the jungle canopy ... for as far as the eye can see, in any direction, there is nothing but jungle! With the exception of a few other Mayan All you hear is wind, monkeys, and birds. Truly one of the magical places on earth.
